Bhubaneswar: Bird flu spreads a part of Deogarh district as a dead crow, a dead owl and dead chickens were found from Rengali colony in the district and also some places in Khordha district.

According to information, livestock officials recovered the bodies from the colony. While colony people apprehend that avian influenza might attack birds in the locality, concerned officials said swab and blood samples of birds from the locality would be collected and sent to Bhopal for test. If H5N1 virus is detected, appropriate measures would be taken, officials said.
